Full description
Explore one of the most picturesque areas of Paris on a 2-hour walking tour through Montmartre, starting with the legendary cabaret theater of the Moulin Rouge, located in the city’s Red Light District. Watch artists at work in charming Place du Tertre, a reminder of the time when Montmartre was a true artists' quarter.

Continue to the Dalí Museum, dedicated to the work of the surrealist artist, where over 300 of his original drawings, sculptures, and paintings are on display. A stop at Montmartre Vineyards to discover a secret garden of Paris and source of the famed Le Clos Montmartre.

Then, explore Montmartre Cemetery, last resting place for many of Montmartre’s famous artists, including Dalida and Degas. Continue the art theme at Le Lapin Agile, haunt of artists in the early 1900s. Pablo Picasso's 1905 painting "At the Lapin Agile" helped make the cabaret world renowned.

Visit Le Bateau-Lavoir, a once dingy block of buildings where artists, including Picasso and Modigliani, lived in bohemian squalor.

Finally, end at the magnificent Sacré-Coeur Basilica, dedicated to the 58,000 people that lost their lives during the Franco-Prussian War.

Steph was outstanding! Knowledgable, helpful, funny and patient!

Tour guide Steph was great - knoweldgable about the area and its history. Her sense of humor was spot on too. She was patient with some of the visitors as we did a bathroom break. She took us to some great places in Montmarte and always tried to find shade for us to stand in. Awesome and fun tour!!

Great tour with a fantastic guide

The tour in Montmartre was a great experience and I highly recomment to book it. Our guide Kit impressed our whole group with his energy, creativity and knowledge about this unique quarter of Paris. The tour was very entertaining and informative at the same time and we learnt much about culture, history and art. Despite the cold weather, I enjoyed the two hours a lot.

Great tour, even on a rainy day!

This was one of my favorite tours on my recent trip to Paris, with my teenage daughter. We learned all about the history of the Montmartre area, which is so very picturesque and lovely. We were there on a day when it was raining lightly, and this actually worked to our advantage, since the usual crowds were much reduced. There were only a few people in the Place du Tertre. Our tour guide, Gil, was energetic, pleasant, and most informative. At the end of the tour, we were left at the top of the Funicular, and instead of going down and off, my daughter and I went back to spend some more time in the area. We had her portrait drawn in the Place, and the artist did quite an excellent job for 40 euros. I am a graduate of a well-regarded art school, so I think I know a decent artist when I come across one, and the man who drew my daughter was very talented and conscientious. So I highly recommend this tour, especially for those with any interest in art or the history of Paris.
