I took this tour because I wanted to see it freely. I got on from the side of the opera. It was good that I didn't have to worry about the round-trip movement and that I could enter as soon as I arrived. There was only one Japanese, but if you wish, there is a Japanese version of the map and audio guide. The guide did not support Japanese, and the explanations were in English, French, and Spanish. I thought it would be okay if I knew only the meeting place and time on the way back. This tour does not include an admission ticket to the palace, so you must purchase it to enter here. It may be better to check in advance, such as using a museum pass. Although it is a one-day tour, it is a gathering of 11:10 entrance and 16:15 return, so sightseeing is 5 hours, and if you want to relax lunch, you may not have enough time.

A good guide on the coach and the Palace is amazing

Enjoyed the trip and certainly queues for us were reasonably short, even though it was a busy Sunday The gardens were a disappointment as there were no sign posts, no stewards to ask and no seating. The map we were issued with did not seem to relate to what we could see and didn't indicate where we were. We only came across the train after it was too late to join the queue to take it. We were let down badly on the return journey as the coach did not return us to our starting point as promised in your e-mail of 13th May. They finished at the Opera and refused to carry on. We walked a good distance to find a taxi with no luck and back at the Opera Metro the entrance to the line we wanted was closed and we had to walk some distance to the other entrance. it was very hot and we are both in our 80s and were extremely tired. Our tickets cost 7.50 Euro. Most of the above not your fault except for the let down at the end

For us, the best way to have seen Versailles was with the self-guided tour. However, Versailles itself, was way overcrowded and this put a damper on our viewing pleasure--but this has nothing to do with the tour company. Everything with them worked out fairly well. They picked us up at the designated meeting point and got us in, although it did take about 45 minutes standing in a light rain. Again, this was due to heavy crowds. The 7 hour time they give you is deceiving--that includes transportation and waiting in line time. We had about 3 hours to view Versailles in the end.
