The museum itself is incredible, and well worth going to see! The timed entry ticket is worth getting to skip the line at the entrance to the pyramid. However, it's no help at all if you're interested in getting an audioguide. Once inside the museum you still need to join the normal ticket line in order to get an audioguide. It does say on the skip the line ticket that audioguide is not included - I didn't mind having to pay a little extra to get the audioguide but it was annoying to have to join the ticket line in order to get one.
Top end food and drink, friendly attentive waiter and shown straight to our table on arrival. Really enjoyable evening. Waiter kept our wine glasses (2 botts !) Topped up all night. Views from boat amaxing and guide info perfect. The 2.5 hours flew by too quick for us. Will be doing this again. Nice touch was i spotted bridge i had proposed on night before to Diane and got a pic. Spoke to a lovely american retired couple next to us most of night. Evening overall was just perfect....John and Diane from Aberdeen
We had Eric as our guide who was exceptional. I'm big on history myself but his knowledge base was fantastic being a local Parisian with great english. The Eiffel Tower is beautiful and the views are stunning. The stairs leading up are no problem and you get the lift to the summit. Meeting point is just outside the airport style entrance. Again Eric was superb and even emailed me and my wife a list of restaurants and pattiseries to visit- which we did!
Buying your ticket ahead of time is definitely a perk. I personally prefer having my day organized and with a pre-purchased ticket and time slot, this allowed us to prepare an itinerary of our time in Paris so we were able to visit all the spots we wanted with no delays.
This is not a guided tour but a guide will meet you to take you through security. Everything is very smooth. The only issue is the price which is almost 3 times as much as that of tickets sold on the official website.
