What people are saying about Paris

David was enthusiastic and very informative

We went during Aug 2019 so peak time, line was long but was all organised. A representative from the guide company (City Tour 1) was already going along the line and ticking peoples names off so that was reassuring. Once past security we met up with our group and our guide David. He was very warm, welcoming and funny. Our tour was to the summit by elevator, overall the tour was nice although you can easily turn up and get tickets at the gate. The official Eiffel Tower website said tickets weren't available which is why I opted for this tour but people were buying tickets at the gate, so if you don't want the tour and the website says its sold out I would simply turn up and buy tickets.

Beat the queues and get an excellent guide into the bargain.

Our daughter has special needs and finds it difficult to be in enclosed spaces for long periods of time so we are always looking for ways around having to stay in particularly long queues. The skip the line priority access tickets for the Eiffel Tower were perfect for us as the regular queues can take a few hours, even with previously booked tickets. The guide we had was also very knowledgeable but didn’t overload us with information. The amount of info given was just enough. Overall it was a very worthwhile experience which meant that a visit to the Eiffel tower didn’t take up a whole day.

Fun tour for all but limited real involvement

All the ingredients are already measures and made prior to families stirring, pouring or rolling so while you do get involved it wasn't at the level we expected. In addition unlike a gelato and pizza class we took you don't get the recipes afterwards. This is fun and interesting to see how the process is still so manual and by hand with over 2000 baguettes made daily. The yummy takeaway bread is a nice touch.

Very detailed and funny and the same time. The guide perfect

The guide, Akaki, was very able to explain everythings, with precious details, not only linked with Tour Eiffel but also with the urban development of Paris. He was also smart to brought us to the best view of and giving us some useful tips.

Our guide, Will, was exceptional - knowledgeable and humorous

Our guide Will was excellent. A great companion who answered all my insufferable questions with humour and aplomb. Knowledgeable, informative and courteous - couldn’t have wished for better.
