What people are saying about Oxford

Trevor was great. He met us on time and was friendly and welcoming. He ensured enough time was provided for any late arrivals and once ready to start the tour, did so ensuring our safety explaining about social distancing.....and Oxford bicycle traffic! The rout was informative, upbeat, amusing and extremely interesting with Trevor providing ample photo opportunities. He made the tour like appear effortless and his storytelling was right on point with lots of interesting factual information - things we were not aware of before. We would highly recommend taking this tour with Trevor. You will not be disappointed. Interestingly, I overheard a couple of other tour guides when we were out and about and they weren’t a patch on Trevor. Trevor was incredibly respectful of others, those studying and those working in buildings we stopped outside of.

I liked the fact that we managed to visit 2 of the most highly rated Cotswolds villages, Burford and Bibury. We had enough time in both villages to do the photo shots, enjoy the fall scenery and leisurely walk along the street. Oxford was a bit hectic as 2 hours is not enough for the city.

We were taken around Oxford and had buildings and areas explained to us. Our guide also told a few local tales and pointed out other points of interest you might not find if walking around on your own. Trevor our guide was also entertaing and knowledgeable of the area and colleges.

We had a great time. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable and had lots of stories to tell us as we walked around the city, varying from more historical to more recent. Though we weren't allowed into the buildings due to Coronavirus, we still had a great time and would recommend it.

My guide was very informative and made the tour extremely fun. She gave an excellent insight into the life of an Oxford student and was able to explain the historical significance of each of the buildings and provided unique stories about each of the colleges.
