I hope you get Caesar our guide . He was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. The meeting point at Starbucks is directly across from subway so very easy to find. Ensure you wrap up very warm as you have lots of time standing in the cold but so worthwhile to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island. You can also get teas and coffees on the ferry which are inexpensive.

Our guide was fantastic. We met at Starbucks and he gave us so much history along our walk to the area where the security checks start. The entire experience was so wonderful. I've wanted to see the Statue of Liberty since I was a little girl and it was everything I expected and more.

disorganized

We had been looking forward to a nice outing which had received good reviews. However, the whole system was extremely disorganized. Despite having three tickets that we even showed, their system stated that we had only booked two. It took so long to correct the error that we did not reach the guided tour of Battery Park. Finally we reached the ferry where we had to stand in a long queue with several hundred people to get on board and through the security check. On board there was virtually no room for the passengers, so we were more easily squeezed. We chose to skip the Statue of Liberty and head straight to Ellis Island, which was a great experience. But hold on, where was a lot of trouble. In addition, the trip lasted longer than the 3 hours described. Therefore, the tickets are not recommended.
