What people are saying about New Orleans

Charlotte was delightful, knowledgeable, and incredibly funny!

Charlotte was an amazing cemetery guide! She knew all the right places to stop and she was concerned for our health in the heat. She knew so much history that she had stories about the city on the way to the cemetery. And she knew a lot about a variety of topics; architecture, military history; political history, and the best place to get cold water for the tour! Once in the cemetery, she was able to talk about way more than Marie Laveau. She was respectful of the cemetery and the vaults. She was full of details that brought the cemetery to life (pun intended!). She connected with each member of her group and told the right stories for the right people. She even recommended two books that I plan to order for my library when I get home. I would recommend her tour to anyone interested in visiting St Louis #1!

Tour was amazing and I would recommend her to everyone.

My partner and me were visiting New Orleans for the first time and didn’t know much about the city. We booked Libby because her tour fascinated us and it was right choice. She was simply amazing, she confirmed booking right away. We met at local coffee shop and walked around the Garden District. She is very knowledgeable, easy going and interesting to listen to. She introduced a lot of information about history, culture and traditions. She explained architecture’s style and cemetery, she pointed out interesting sport and places to visit in the neighborhood. We had so much fun and felt in love with neighborhood and city itself. I would recommend her tour to everyone who wants to learn and explore New Orleans. We planning to come back and definitely get in touch with her again.

Good tour, informative, lack of passion though

Our tour guide could tell us about the basics of the history and vodoo religion, but there was no real passion for the topic. Also, it's hard to find the meeting location, it would've helped to know that it's a red phone booth - that would've made it clear who to approach right away. She was very nice though and really cared about the well-being of the group in the heat. The tour was still worth it and I can recommend seeing the cemetery when you're in town.

Enthusiastic guide, but too talkative about her personal life.

Dartanya spent too much time spent in Armstrong Park standing and talking, and I realized later that we didn’t see Armstrong’s statue! Less time was available to walk the neighborhood. A laundromat referred to in the tour description was not pointed out, not sure what the significance was. The Petit Jazz Museum was a delight, but it wasn’t clear on tour description or guide that the tour was ending there for presentation by Alvin Jackson.

Lindsey, our guide was phenomenal as was the many foods we tasted.

From sweet potatoes beignet, tasting pepper sauce, gumbo and so much more, this was a fun and certainly delicious tour. Haad a great time, met some fun people and learned so much about Nawlins. Incredible tour guide. Ask for Lindsey.
