We had a good experience with Crissy, our guide. She sure knows a lot about New Orleans’ history and feels very passionate about that. Also, she had all kind of small activities (we made a ragged doll!) and local snacks for the kids, and took the time to explain us all and answer our many questions.
We were unable to hear our guide at the beginning of the tour due to construction and maintenance workers at a nearby restaurant. Tour guides should have microphones. Also, the tour information intimates that we will be going INTO a cemetery which is not the case, so it's a little deceiving.
Mike was a great guide and the driver was excellent as well. The bus was clean. And all information told was factual. Mike was very engaging and answered questions to the best of his ability.
Gumbo, jambalaya, pralines, and bread pudding cooking demo and history lesson - including a full serving of each - well worth the price just for the amount of food. Come hungry!
After several long days of walking it was nice to ride around in a van for a few hours. We saw many of the neighborhoods and got great food/bar/music recommendations.
