The Guide is a musician and could offer us an insight into the past of Nola which I wouldnt learn without his extensive explanations. Stories about Creoles, European influences, history, the evolution of Jazz, architecture: The tour was worthwhile. We also got infos about what to do in the city both restaurants and bars. Especially the recommended Italian in the Frenchmanstreet was an absolute bulls eye. The bars were also on Point! But please dont recommend the Po-Boys anymore ;-) Recommend it!
We had a very intimate tour (there were only 2 of us!) with an excellent guide (Jack) who stopped at designated points to describe some of the interesting aspects of the area and emphasized the history. It was easy biking and wonderful scenery. Highly recommended!
I would recommend spending this 3.5 hours to anyone. It's not a strenuous bike ride and it's very informative. We went back to many of the neighborhoods we cycle 3. It gave us a great lay of the land and so much to talk about! Thank you Jack!
