Popular Airboat Tours in New Orleans

We started early, which was nice, because it was hot when we weren't moving. But we we were moving a lot and it kept us cool. We went fast down the waterways and slowed down to take pics and ask questions in some of the tour guides fave spots. We only got stuck once, when the guide took a turn too fast and we veered into the swamp. Was okay though. Another boat quickly got us out and while we waited we got to play with a baby alligator which tour guide had on board in a cooler. The views were magnificent. We saw alligators, egrets, swamp chickens, turtles and lots of flowing spanish moss. Would highly recommend this company and this event to anyone. Wear your ear protection. It got loud without it!

We had so much fun with Rocky. He knows the gators as well as the bayou. We would do this tour again when we come back to New Orleans. The pickup service was also excellent. Gators were so cool to see. Rocky’s interaction with the gators was amazing. He has the gators eating out of his hand and balanced the gator on his feet. We got to Hold a baby gator on the tour. It was so cute. The education we got from Rocky was do interesting on the water ways Nd all the animals that live in the swamp. We highly recommend this excursion to families and couples.

The combo tour is great if you only have one day for excursions but if you want time to enjoy the grounds and take in the history, we recommend separate tours. The swamp boat tour was AMAZING, best investment this trip! We had a great time with the guide, showing us so many beautiful aspects of the swamp and the wildlife, wow!! We have pictures to back up our memories! I can’t guarantee you’ll have the same experience because it’s nature but it definitely should be on everyone’s bucket list.

The guild was very entertaining, we saw one gator, ( I think it was real, it was from a distance, could have been a cement fakey). The fan boat was a blast! To load the bus was real slow and unorganized. The driver drove slow and talked a lot on the way to the swamp on the way back no talkie and drove like a bat out of hell.

We had a great tour, Rocky have us lots of information, I want to come back on a personal tour to shoot water rats. I suggest they put recovery ropes on the boats for the rookie drivers that get their boat stuck. Haha.
