What people are saying about New Delhi

If you are looking for a customized itinerary...this is it!

We had a few specific places we wanted to see Humayun's Tomb, Akshardam Temple, Agrasen di Baoli, lunch at Moti Mahal and some clothes shopping with whatever time left over for my fiancee. Our guide gave a nice background on the sites we visited and answered several of my questions along the way. Although pictures are not allowed inside Akshardam Temple I would still consider it a must stop in New Delhi. Of modern architecture I have not seen anything that compares to it. Moti Mahal, the creators of Butter Chicken, was absolutely delicious. The only problem we had with most restaurant stops was requesting spicy, but being foreigners receiving less spicy food from the restaurants. Moti Mahal was no exception. Still...delicous. The only negative thing I have to say was the shopping. There are several cheap places to buy clothes around New Delhi, but we were taken to a linen store that pays out commission to tour guides and was frankly overpriced on all their items.

Good experience and great value for 3 hours.

Worth revisiting cultural heritage sites and getting a taste of local specialities which may be on the spicier side for many. This is a very crowded part of Delhi and is full of life centuries after it was the centre of power in India. There is so much variety and history to absorb: only don’t let the strange aromas and the occasional dirt deter you. After all where else can one get so much of everything packed inside a 3 hour walking tour. Objectively speaking there are just 4 great cities in the world that can give you such an experience: Rome, Istanbul, Paris, and Delhi. No other city can.

Wonderful Experience, best way to visit Delhi

Tour started right on time. Both driver and tour guide was there to meet at my hotel during the pickup. My Guide Hitesh was a very nice gentleman, energetic and full of knowledge. At very monument he explained me very well about the history and background. Food was very nice and i loved it. My driver was also very in driving skills. He was driving very peacefully even at the busy traffic roads. My day really went and i am really happy with this tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is looking to visit Old and New Delhi. This is the way to explore.

Great Old and New Delhi Tour with best tour guide

Well coordination since the starting of the tour. Pick-up was right on time, both driver and guide was waiting for me at the hotel. First we visited Old Delhi, rickshaw ride was memorable. Then we stop for a lunch break and it was very delicious and a nice place to eat. After lunch we covered New Delhi. Our tour guide Devendra was always with us and took a good care of us. Nice guy with a great depth of knowledge. Our day spent well and the tour was really amazing. This tour is recommended to everyone.

I especially enjoyed a tour from a woman!

I was traveling with a girlfriend of mine to New Delhi, and I particularly enjoyed having a tour from a woman to help explain some of the culture and expectations. It made me feel safe going into unfamiliar areas. I appreciated how she stood up for us when some men who were handling ticket and robe sales at one of the mosques tried to get us to buy robes even though we were fully covered and dressed modestly.
