What people are saying about Nazca
Lucas was our guide, and was very knowledgeable about many aspects of Lima and its history. The car ride was very long, but we brought movies/books to entertain ourselves. We had a rest stop about an hour of the way in where we bought coffee and ate from the included “box breakfast.” We then continued on to Huacachina to ride the sand buggies and sandboard. After that, we flew over the Nazca lines in a Cessna Grand Caravan which was great except for the 60deg banked turns so everyone can see the lines. Lunch was after that at appx 2pm, and we skipped the wine tasting cause our stomachs were still struggling from the flight. The ride back took about 5 hrs as there was lots of traffic going into Lima. Overall a great experience.
A super incredible experience and a must do in Nazca! The plane does swerve and turn in order for you to have the best view and it’s quite normal... so try to hang in there for the 30 minutes because it is so worth it! Great service and I felt safe throughout the whole trip. I only wished the pilot could tell us more information about the Nazcan lines because he kept repeating the same words for each of the motif we saw.. lol
Totally worth it to see these mystical lines. The plane is small and shaky with lots of turns (they show you every line on the right and on the left side so everybody can take great pictures) so make sure to take something for motion sickness if you're sensitive
So great to see them for real, not just on the internet. Once you can see the surrounding area you can appreciate why they are where they are. It's the only flat area around there.
Bus was late getting in so we only had time to check out the Nazca lines and have lunch. The bus ride is 8 hours from Lima to Nazca. No time to see the aqueducts, etc.
