Great but be prepared for a` lot of walking and bring a hat!

Was a great tour. Lots of interesting facts and sights to see. Only problem i had was i was not informed about the amount of walking that was required. I am a fit person so it was not a problem for the walking but i did not have a hat with me and the weather was very hot outside. There were some older folk who eventually stayed on the bus and did not continue to see the rest of the sights as it was too hot outside and they also had no hat or covering with them. I would recommend the tour but people should be warned as to the amount of walking that is done with this trip and a hat is defiantly needed in summer.

Excellent guided tour; wish we had time for the longer one!

Everything was perfect: Met when and where specified, and left on time, in a nice, comfortable van with great viewing. Driver did great job. The guide, Liam was extremely knowledgible and entertaining! We were able to see and/or visit all the top historical sites, which were described and narrated in detail by our guide. Would definitely recommend this tour, and will be booking with Get Your Guide again when I get back to DC this spring.

Washington DC Must See Sights Half-Day Tour Reviewed by

Excellent Tour, excellent guide, excellent timing!

Getting started at the White House Gifts Shop was easy to get to from our hotel. Our guide was clear, easy to understand and carried a bright colorful umbrella which helped us to see her in the crowds. The tour began at the White House and took us to many important sites. Then we ended at the FDR and the Martin Luther King monuments - which were PERFECT for understanding and honoring some of the deeper values in America!

The tour guide Nick was very knowledgeable + had a great personality

Our tour guide Nick was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and had a dynamic personality. He kept us entertained and informed. Our driver Milton did a great job navigating the streets of DC. All in all the tour was excellent. I would recommend it to everyone.

Just like it says see it all in one day!!

Great way to see D.C. in one day, hit all the landmarks we wanted to see. Our tour Guide Larry and his driver Jeffery were the best, so informed and had a lot of fun facts!! So many tours we have been on were so boring, but Larry kept us wanting to hear more!!
