What people are saying about Nashville
I enjoyed meeting people from across the United States at my table. Even though the buffet was a bit tricky to maneuver with my cane, the food was excellent. The server at our table explained how the evening would unfold and brought bread, beverages, and dessert at our request. I enjoyed just being on the river and seeing Nashville at night from the river. The overview of country music by the entertainers had a little bit of something for everyone. I thought they were excellent. I would like to do the cruise during the day sometime.
Great investment to do this tour. Bert was high energy. Sincerely put his all into it. Played the piano while on the bus. The stop at the bar was where song writers came to showcase their songs. That was good. Got a good driving tour and explanation of many things not on Broadway. Bert’s tip to take the tour of RCA Studio B from the C&W Hall of fame turned out to be the highlight of our visit to Nashville.. HIGHLY recommend this two hour tour!
Sheryl, I believe was her name, our afternoon driver was awful. She didn’t talk about the sites but rarely. Spent her time laughing and talking with the passengers about drinking. Inappropriate talk about the trolley schedule, homeless people. If she were our only guide it would have been a waste of our money. We took the complete tour in the morning with Roy so we knew what was possible.
One of the driver and guides (an older gentleman) did not catch his name, needs to speak clearer; he also needs to listen to the passengers when they mentioned that his topic of discussion were not of interest to us. He was fine when he stayed on track with a fact tour. A second guide on another stop was very informative and interacted well with some of the young people on the bus.
Big Jerry picked us up on time at our hotel and gave us a story about every building or historical site we passed along the way. Highly recommend this tour and any others that Big Jerry is the tour guide.
