This real tonic is in the water, which has been said to cure arthritis, chronic fatigue system, and other ailments. For the more adventurous outdoorsy types, there are camping sites and RV parks.
These goats in Calistoga have a tendency to collapse and appear unconscious when startled. Don't be too alarmed though, it's just their quirky way. The area near the geyser is home to a herd of these Tennessee goats, who have a nervous-system disorder that causes them to keel over when startled.

- While California boasts a temperate climate year-round with plenty of sunshine--it can get hot in the summertime and quite packed with tourists and locals. Best times to visit are spring and fall, when it's a bit cooler and you'll be able to have the tasting rooms all to yourself. Also fall provides a beautiful backdrop to your visit with the changing leaves throughout the valley.
What people are saying about Napa Valley
This tour was exceptional. For anyone looking for a full day in Napa/Sonoma without staying overnight there - this is the tour for you. The tour was organized, timely, and the stops were AMAZING! Not to mention our tour guide was one of the best I’ve ever had. Knowledgeable, funny, and enjoyable !
We expected to leave the wine country around 4, but the driver was in a hurry to beat traffic so we arrived back earlier than anticipated. The wineries visited were nice, but it would have been great to spend at least a couple of hours at all of them.
Great day under the knowledgable guidance of Randall. Meditative time in the Redwoods at Muir Woods, nice lunch in delightful Sonoma and tastings at 3 wineries in Sonoma and Napa valleys. Balanced and well paced trip. We both learned a lot!
Our Tour guide Anthony Firetto was so great and very informative about the area while we were making our way to Sonoma. Nice small group of people who we great to spend the day with enjoying the wine and the sunshine.
We liked all three wineries we visited. I love Castello Di Amorosa and their sweet wines! Our lunch at Sattui Winery was delicious, and they also have cheese tasting... we bought 3 different variety of cheeses!
