Full description
Cross the desert dunes of Muscat by 4WD vehicle, and experience the adrenaline rush of driving across the rugged terrain in an off-road mode of transport. Make your way to the Wahiba Sands to see the traditional homes of the desert nomads and Bedouin tribes.

Keep a look-out for the nomads as they move through the desert with their camels. Visit a Bedouin home in the middle of the desert, and contrast the arid landscape with the clear, blue waters of Wadi Bani Khalid.

Enjoy a relaxing siesta in the shade of the palm trees, and catch a glimpse of the pretty villages scattered across the slopes of the wadi. Marvel at how the houses cling precariously to the rugged mountain side. Bring your swimming costume to take a dip in the inviting waters!

An enjoyable trip - the driver was particularly helpful throughout the trip. It would be useful to say to take towels in the what to pack section for bathing in the Wadis. Also a picture of what is acceptable to wear when swimming at the wadis (it was displayed on a signpost at the Wadi). We did think lunch was included.

Very good guide, very kind .. Hammed is an Omani boy of great culture and respect .... it is worth doing this tour only for his presence and availability ... he tells you all about Oman things and traditions Bravissimo! And we have made many trips around the world and excursions as many

very good guide, since we had booked a private guide, they learned about the country and the culture. I would not do the trip again because it is really far from Muscat, especially if you are only 1 day for a stop of a cruise. 3 hours single driving. but the whadi was really beautiful, including the dunes. perhaps better mention that you have to bring adapted clothing for swimming because you are not allowed to swim in a bikini or bathing suit. we had to put on our clothes but didn't bring any extra clothes. and since it was driving so far, we only had 1 hour to dry everything
