• In some circumstances internal flights to/from Lukla are delayed by a few hours or canceled for a day or even many days because of bad weather. This happens very rarely, but it could happen even in the best trekking season. Hence, it is always recommended for you to add supplement night/s in Kathmandu after your trek if possible (just in case). If everything runs smoothly, you can enjoy other activities like sightseeing, rafting, wildlife activities, shopping or as you wish in those additional days. However, in the event of these weather delays, if you a want a helicopter rescue in the event of unavoidable flight cancellations to/from Lukla - the tour operator can organize this.
