Wonderfully accommodating wine and tapas with gorgeous scenery!

Our tour was set up so well. First, upon meeting, our tour guide, Louis, introduced himself and got us acquainted with how the rest of the day would be. He also noted down the fact that I had dietary restrictions (I'm vegan) and told the other members of the staff. We listened to his wealth of knowledge about Barcelona and the surrounding areas while onboard a very comfortable air-conditioned bus to Montserrat. Our tour guide walked us through the courtyard of the monastery and then let us have some free time (around 1 hour and 15 minutes) to hike, take photos, explore the museums, etc. Afterward, we went back on the bus to travel down to this wonderful family-owned vineyard that had a view of Montserrat. We had tapas (very accommodating to vegans) and the wine was also vegan and sustainable! I was so pleased with the service. I could not recommend this tour more!

Amazing! Beautiful views, the meal at the olive farm was unbelievable!

We booked a group of five and another person decided to come along after we had booked. I made a booking error for the single person and the company was so accommodating, honouring the booking for all six of us even though I had booked on the incorrect date. Flavio was an amazing guide, very friendly, knowledgeable and a great driver! We had some free time at the monastery which was nice, to check out the farmer’s market, museum, go for a hike or just spend more time in the cathedral. Next we were off to the olive farm where we had the most epic meal! It was a three course meal but we could have easily filled up on just the starters! Unlimited wine was included. We enjoyed chatting with the owner and eating under the covered patio looking over the olive groves. Can not say enough about this tour! Would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Not quite as expected, but worth the experience

The description caused me to think that we would be riding horses up to a monastery or at least riding horses a lot longer than we actually did (only 1 hour approximately out of the 5 committed for this trip). I honestly just wanted to ride horses, but it ended up being half and half of the 5 hour day. All in all, I'm glad I did this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and I loved the background history he gave us of Barcelona while travelling out to the monastery. I wouldn't expect getting any reasonable amount of time to shop at the monastery gift shop and bakery, and I'm not sure if I would suggest this trip if you really want to ride horses.

A must-do when in Barcelona! Amazing scenery and lunch!

Montserrat is breathtaking! It was truly one of those mountains that make you realise how tiny we are in this world. Adrian was a really awesome guide. He was well informed and very funny, which made the trip very fun. I got quite sick once we arrived at Montserrat and he was incredible with helping me. He also took me to the medical centre and really made a big effort to reassure me that I'll be ok. I felt really grateful that he was there. A big thanks to the driver as well (Sorry, forgot his name, Christian I think??). Also, the lunch was a really cool experience. Got to taste a very wide variety of foods and in such a beautiful setting.

Exceptional guide! Well planned and executed hike!

I thoroughly enjoyed my hiking experience! We not only hiked the known paths but also explored off the beaten paths with history, botany and geological information of the region! Snack and picnic lunch and best spot to have it at, deserves the 5star rating of its own!! I highly recommend if you are looking for an exceptional hiking experience!
