Full description
This small group tour departs from Melbourne around midday and includes the very best of the region’s wildlife. Journey to the city’s most colourful attraction – the iconic Brighton Beach bathing boxes for an opportunity to visit the beach and take some time to admire these historic landmarks.

Take a guided tour of Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, and get an opportunity to interact with and learn about an array of Australian animals. Hand feed the kangaroos, emus & wallabies and learn about the numerous breeding programs undertaken here to preserve many endangered native species including Tasmanian Devils, Spotted Quolls and Southern Hairy-nosed Wombats, to name a few.

Afterwards, enjoy a visit to Point Grant and The Nobbies, taking in the views of Westernport Bay, Bass Strait, and Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest fur seal population.

Finally, it's time for the main event. As the sun goes down each evening, the world’s smallest 'fairy' penguins come ashore after fishing out at sea all day. Your guide will help you get the best seats possible so you'll have a great view of the Penguin Parade.

Our guide Ricky was helpful and nice. Gave us some good advice to find some good seats for viewing the penguin parade. The parade in the evening was amazing. Overall it was a very nice tour. The only thing is that this's a really long tour (~14 hours), we got back to the city at ~11:30pm, but this's kind of unavoidable because the penguins don't come out until ~9pm; but otherwise if u dont mind that it'd be absolutely fine.

Very cold, windy and wet but still a great day out, would be amazing in the sunshine! The driver/guide Jon was excellent. Watching 4000 penguins come ashore and waddle to their nests was wonderful to watch - be aware that photography is not allowed as it frightens them. All in all a great day out!

The trip started off slow as we travelled about the city at various pick ups. But Felix our guide was very entertaining as he chatted excitedly about the trip and also itinerary. The Bristol bath houses were very pretty unfortunately there was not enough time for us to get our feet wet and maybe a little cold too since it is spring. The moonlit sanctuary was interesting and unfortunately it was hard to choose between the environment conservation show and seeing the animals and feeding the wallabies. Due to the overwhelming no of visitors, it’s a little disappointing that wallabies are not hungry. The Noobies as before is where you find “no bodies”. I can never see the seals/ sea lions but the view of the ocean is great. The new penguins parade is excellent and the food is also very yummy. The hot drinks are at half price if you bring your flasks.
