What people are saying about Melbourne

Well organized but quite rushed, Christian kind guide and safe driver

Christian was quite nice, however we were 24 guests and difficult to talk to everybody. He was explaining some things, apart from that we were not chatting with each other. The other guests were mainly couples or groups of families. After start (pick up late b/o traffic issues) we had to speed up. All stops were quick with sharp timing. Additionally, during winter there is a strict schedule, since the goal is to be at the pinguins for sunset, meaning around 5.10 p.o. at that day. First stop at Moonlit Sanctuary with lunch, then walking around for 45 min. Definitely not worth to buy extra tickets for padding koalas or feeding kangaroos! At Churchill Island Heritage Farm 3 lessons e.g. sheep-shearing (horrible) and sheep-gathering by a sheep dog (quite ok). Thereafter to Philip Island. I had baught an upgrade for the penguin parade visiting. But that was definitely not worth it. Later all other people came to that special/expensive area anyway.

The Great Ocean Road Tour was absolutely fantastic .

I would definitely use Go West again & recommend them to others. Our Tour Guide Leonie was absolutely amazing, she is the best tour guide I have ever encountered. Really well organised tour and comfort was assured. Lots of good initiatives by Leonie such as a good music playlist made the day just so good.

It is truly a great experience with the passionate tour guides!

- the sites of the tour are very well selected and coordinated; - the journey is full of actions and fun! - the place (Appolo Bay) stopped for lunch has a lot of great choices - most importantly, the tour guides are great passionate professionals: Yazmin and Daniel

It was a good way to get out of the city & see the Dandenongs

Our driver was great, he did an informative commentary but was very humorous with it. It was interesting to hear the history of the native Australian people settling in the Melbourne area & learn a bit about their culture. A very smooth bus trip that ran to time.

Long day but we had spectacular weather and great views.

I can definitely see the advantages of the reverse trip as it was almost sundown by the time we got to 12 Apostles and very busy by then. Altogether a terrific guide (Chris) who made the day enjoyable. It’s a long day but the views are great.
