What people are saying about Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial

Overall tour was decent and our guide was good.

we arrived at 8:15 as directed. Your ad makes you think you get to skip all the lines but that's not the case so you should say so. We waited over an hour to get into the Visitors center. Then we waited another 90 minutes for your staff to get our tickets. We were told there was a processing issue at the Capitol and that our tickets would be forthcoming. After an hour wait, our guide started to show us some of the displays in the Visitors area and then our tickets became available. We were only able to see two rooms in the Capitol. It was not as extensive or in depth as your Tour ads make them appear to be. Our guide, Nick, did a great job managing the group and delays we experienced. Boat Tour/Lunch was ok. Bus tour of the monuments was ok. A little rushed but still good. dropped us off at the Archives which is where the tour ended.

Informatively entertaining 3 hours well spent

It was only our tour guide Andrew's 3rd assignment, but he did a fine job. At times, we could tell that he couldn't quite remember what he wanted to say about a certain location, but he was able to quick recover. The tour was nicely planned and a very good way to visit the Capitol building, monuments and memorials. The evening view was spectacular at many of these locations. We are very glad to have signed up for this tour. We recommended it to a friend who was in DC for the first time for a conference and didn't have enough time for sightseeing. She signed up and said she enjoyed it as well.

Great way to see all the major monuments/Memorials

It was a very humid hot day, but our slow d the pace and gave plenty of options to rest. The tour was informative. The only drawback was having to wait so long for lunch. You go to a restaurant, stand around to order Then get back on bus to get to cruise departure. This was a waste of time. There is an option to preorder you food online, which we did, but it made no difference. Still had to get through all the motions. Other than is “glitch” the tour was great. Enjoyed spending the day with Nick

We loved every part of it and, Joey, our guide was simply fantastic!

Seeing the memorials at night was breath-taking! Our guide, Joey, made it so interesting and answered all our questions and then some. No one should miss seeing these sites when visiting D.C. We were on a bus with 34 people and were given some free time with a timeline. Since it was pretty cold, we kept the pace moving. Joey gave us great background info to help us appreciate everything we were seeing or about to see. It was a night I will never forget! Thank you!!

Best way to see the best of DC in 8 hours!

This tour was well worth the money! Our tour guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable about DC and American history and made the tour a fun experience. Be prepared to do a lot of walking and stair climbing, but SO worth it! The lunch was excellent and the boat ride on the Potomac was a real treat. Highly recommend this tour.
