Good but start point is far away & accent of guide is hard to get

The tour was surprisingly good - we went to many places and the guide gave useful info. It is a good mixture of sitting in the bus and walking around the monuments - so many of them are outside and require good 15 to 30 min to see. Only issue was that he guide had a very heavy accent and it was hard to understand him. Also, the starting point that is marked on the maps is wrong - bus leaves from the city bus station which is some 30 min away from downtown. Check that! Also, it is best to print out the ticket. In our case, they did a compromise and let us forward us the confirmation but it was on the border. Otherwise, great route, good info, and really enjoyable. At night all of the monuments are lit up in just gorgeous colors so it creates amazing atmosphere.

The Best Way to Start Your Vacation in D.C.

We brought my older sister to D.C. and since she has not been to this city since she was 10, we decided to take the tour our first night in D.C. We rode the metro to Union Station where we had dinner and then took the Monument's Tour. It was the best decision we made and the most time we spent off our feet all week. We got to see almost all of the monuments and then decided which ones we wanted to revisit more in depth that week (Vietnam Wall and Korean Monument need lots of time). Thank you for a wonderful start to our vacation. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

We loved every part of it and, Joey, our guide was simply fantastic!

Seeing the memorials at night was breath-taking! Our guide, Joey, made it so interesting and answered all our questions and then some. No one should miss seeing these sites when visiting D.C. We were on a bus with 34 people and were given some free time with a timeline. Since it was pretty cold, we kept the pace moving. Joey gave us great background info to help us appreciate everything we were seeing or about to see. It was a night I will never forget! Thank you!!

Small group tour with lots of information shared

Our tour was me, my coworker and another couple. This made our tour close to a private tour and our guide walked with us and gave us so many fun facts along the way. I was blown away by how much our guide knew, how many years she has been a guide and the amount of time she's spent in D.C. This tour was definitely worth the money and I am glad I picked this one from all the other tours offered,

History on a bus ride and walking tour: Who would've thought?

This tour was one of the best experiences I had while on the East coast. Our tour guide, Sally, was EXTREMELY knowledgable and made the tour so interesting and fun. Without her, my dad and I would have been wandering aimlessly around D.C., trying to figure where to go and how to get there and what the historical significance of each place was.
