The guided experience was amazing

The guide met us at the hotel the night prior and provided details for the next morning. He told us to buy our tickets that night to avoid standing in line for a couple hours the morning of departure. Our guide met us at the time stated and walked us to the bus station to board the bus. We border the bus with our guide and ride to MP. The tour was very informative and fun. Jimmy our guide, is knowledgeable and interactive. The only confusing aspect of booking was the bus ticket is NOT included in the price but the description made it sound as if it were. I called Get Your Guide service department and they ensured me the bus ticket was included in the price. Purchase your bus ticket when you arrive to Aguas Calientes. It will cost $12 one way or $24 round trip. It’s cheaper than purchasing online. I would recommend this trip.

Excellent

Our guided tour was well organised. Our guide collected us from our hotel in Aguas Callientes early in the morning and took us to the bus. He had us inside Maccu Picchu to see the sunrise! The tour was informative and our guide knew the best spots for photos. Highly recommended.

Very good tour, guide spoke excellent English.

A representative of the tour group, Joseph, met us at the train station, as we were starting our tour not long after the train arrived. I'm not sure what magic happened behind the scenes, but a staff member from our hotel (Inkaterra Machu Picchu) and the the tour group representative coordinated themselves and met us together. Joseph led us through the small town and waited until the bus arrived. We had purchased our bus tickets to go up the mountain in Cusco. It ended up being a nice small group (our family of 4 adults and a solo traveller,) but this is likely because we were travelling at the end of April which isn't the high season. Our tour guide Katti met us at the entrance. She was friendly and knowledgeable. We learned much about the history and buildings, and her English was excellent. She took us through the site at just the right pace, not too fast or slow, and there was just the right amount of information. We really enjoyed the tour.
