Huge thanks to our Guide for taking us on a comprehensive tour of Lyon. We covered so much ground and although a little more knowledge on the history of various places would've been great, we certainly saw more than if we'd tried to navigate the city ourselves. Highlights were the traboules and working silk shop but query was over the tastings component which didn't really happen and we ended up mostly treating our Guide to some lunch. But all good in the end and much appreciated.

We expected a little bit more.

The price of public transport was not included in the price of the visit. Take a bus to go to the halls ... This should have been covered by the visit. Also if we hadn't asked for the tasting we wouldn't have had anything. In addition we expected to have a slightly less ordinary tasting sausage and fresh goat cheese with grapes, it is not typically Lyonnais
