We can not recommend this guided tour enough! It was an incredible experience and without a shadow of a doubt, the best way to soak up all of the sights within this beautiful city. Our tour guide Karsten was so knowledgable and knew Berlin inside out & backwards. He took us across the whole city from the East to the West and down back streets that we would never have found on our own and gave us a fascinating history lesson. Thank you Karsten for making our trip to Berlin so memorable
Ok, you might have not always the open views if you choose to take a tour on a modern double decker bus, but then you will miss the charme of cruising Berlin in a vintage car (people on the streets will actually take photo’s of you), Also worthwhile to mention is the proud owner of the car and very enthousiastic and knowledgeable guide/driver. Can’t be beaten by an audio guide. If you like a very personal approach and love vintage cars, this tour is a must.
I would recommend this tour if you are having a short break in Berlin. The tour was informative and we were shown all the main tourist spots in two hours. We only stopped twice because there was so much to see. This tour will give you a good introduction before you go ahead and choose which sites to re-visit in depth. Thank you so much Petra, Rajko and Carsten. When we come back again we will book a different tour.
We managed to get through both tours A and B on the one day so we could figure out where to focus on the next day as we had a 48 hr ticket. The buses were good but the constant stopping for breaks (usually smoke breaks by drivers) was annoying. The commentary was only so so and didn’t often match up to where we were. What was good was the frequency.
I had only 1 day in Berlin and in addition to that some mobility constraints due to my health issues. Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour is the easiest way to see the most interesting parts of the city. The tour was accompanied with live comments in English and German. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to see the city but has some time limitations.
