Full description
Located on the banks of the River Thames, Shakespeare's Globe is a faithful reconstruction of the open-air playhouse designed in 1599, where many of Shakespeare's plays were performed.

On this tour you’ll receive a ticket for a guided tour of the Globe Theatre auditorium, and a self-guided visit to the exhibition, located in a space below the theatre. A complimentary exhibition audio guide is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Mandarin, and Japanese.

Located in a space underneath the Globe Theatre, an engaging exhibition explores the life of Shakespeare, the London he lived in, and the theatre for which he wrote. Listen as expert storytellers provide fascinating facts about the auditorium and tell colorful stories of the 1599 Globe, as well as the reconstruction process of the 1990s.

During a 30-minute guided tour, you’ll see how the Wooden O works today as an imaginative and experimental space. Tours are conducted in English, and complimentary information sheets are provided in a number of different languages.

Your program ends with a delicious afternoon tea and a glass of Prosecco in the elegant Swan Restaurant, offering unsurpassed views of St. Paul's Cathedral and the River Thames.

The menu includes a selection of freshly made sandwiches, warm scones with jam and cream, homemade patisserie, and a range of loose-leaf teas.
