  • Visit the murder sites in chronological order as you weigh theories about the identity of the killer
  • Learn about the historic neighborhood of Spitalfields and enjoy atmospheric, 19th-Century architecture
Full description
Meet in the heart of Whitechapel and walk back into 19th century London, when the neighborhood was one of the continent’s bleakest ghettos, as you pick up the trail of a serial killer. Snaking through narrow, Victorian alleys and past the Spitalfields Market, pubs where the Ripper’s victims drank, and the old workhouses where they toiled away their days.

This tour will visit each of the five sights, in chronological order, where Jack the Ripper left his victims and discuss both the women who lost their lives and the theories behind who was responsible for their murders. As the London neighborhood is still fashioned in a 19th-century style, your guide will keep you immersed in the atmosphere of the era, where the extremes and the hysteria surrounded the killings. By the end of the tour you’ll be asked to come to a conclusion about the murderer’s identity so put your detective hat on and see if you can follow the clues.
