What people are saying about London

great daytour without tourguide/native driver only

First of all our driver "Darren" was on time at the meeting point 08:30am. The meeting point was easy to find according the instructions in the booking. Our small bus was fully booked with 16 people. There was NO other tourguide so our driver tried his best to tell us a little bit while driving us the whole day but he was very hard to understand due to his accent and also due to the non proper working loudspeakers on the bus. But he was helpfull, water an sweets/mints included for all of us during the day. At all stops we had enough time by our own to explore the locations eventhough our driver missed the correct driving direction once or twice. 1. Canterbury (1,5h) 2. Whitecliffs of Dover (1h) 3. Leeds Castle (2h) At Leeds Castle Darren organized a reduced entrance fee, this was great! As there was a traffic jam in the evening back to London it took us a bit longer to come back. Drop off at 08pm. All together a great experience.

Garreth the guide made the experience even better!!!

Very nice trip, the white cliffs are amazing and the Cathedral in Canterbury as well. We would like even better time in Dover though. We hiked to the lighthouse and lively cafe of Mrs Knotts. The weather turned better so we saw over to Calei! The green and blue against the white cliffs was so great, and in the end og May there were lots of flowers as well. Being the busiest ferryport in Europe we would like some time in the town and harbour as well! Canterbury is an old and nice town, the Cathedral was under refurbishing so we missed aut a bit because of that, but that is a good thing after all. Incredible to see the architecture and the fantastic Art with leaded glass. In the crypt a choir was practicing giving us a lovely cast! Garreth the guide was full of stories, from to day and a lot of history, doing it in and fun and interesting way. Thank you for this great day!!!!

A century on the light these two formidable female icons lit shine on.

Florence Nightingale and Edith Cavell have long passed on but their names will always be remembered, as will the legacies they left behind. They will be remembered by nurses and the general public. They died in very different circumstances, but both rose against unacceptable conditions and conventions; as a consequence changes followed for which the world is and always will be grateful. The lamp of Florence Nightingale continues to shed light on nursing and healthcare in general, and Edith Cavell's teaching on how to treat everybody without exception equal is what has moved nursing into the twenty-first century and made it into the highly respected profession it is today. We will always remember them.

Great experience, lovely trips and awesome guide

First of all, the guide would introduce the spot along the street. And We stay about 2 hours in the White Cliffs of Dover (or you can visit 30 mins in White Cliffs and going to visit Dover Castle). The wind is whipping and a little cold there. It is a beautiful day with breathtaking view that I would like to spend the whole day. After that, we go to the Canterbury, and you must to see the Canterbury Cathedral. It is magnificent and awe-inspiring.

Beautiful building, a must for anyone visiting London

I hadn’t been in to the cathedral since I was a child and visited this time with my daughter who has been learning about the Great Fire of London at school. We climbed the steps to the Golden Gallery and were really impressed with the tour information available. A beautiful building offering a fantastic view of the city. I would definitely recommend St Paul’s to anyone visiting London
