Full description
Your tour will depart from the Scaligero Castle’s port. From here you will start sailing along the peninsula’s coast, where you will be able to see Maria Callas’s 1920s villa where she felt inspired to create many of her opera characters.
You will also be able to observe the nearby thermal spa baths as well as the Aquaria Wellness Center, before spotting the place where the famous poet Catullus wrote many of his poems. You will also cruise past and discover the charismatic Roman villa known as the “Grotte di Catullo“.
Afterwards, you can simply just look through the waves to discover the bubbles of the underwater Boiola Sulphur Spring, which provides thermal water to Sirmione. Finally, after admiring the architecture and perfect preservation of Sirmione Castle, you will have to "lower your head" to pass under the castle drawbridge before returning back to the port.
