Go in comfortable clothing for you will be walking and going up steps. Overall the audio was helpful in understanding the history of the house & design. View at the top is amazing! You can buy the tickets the day of but buy it on the app and select the closest time you will arrive for if you get there too early , you have to wait until the selected time. Mobile app ticket que is shorter than the regular line. Very close (walkable distance) from Casa Batllo. I went to Casa Batllo first and got the Casa Pedrera tickets while walking to the house.
Casa Battlo wasn't the only ticket we booked. It happens too often that after having booked and paid for a ticket one gets a message the trip is not available on the date that was booked, it is cancelled completely or the time that the voucher shows is not what you booked. Also we had a lot of trouble showing the voucher on the phone since downloading wouldn't work at the destination chosen. I doubt if I would book with you again.
In general, I liked Caso Batlló. Gaudi's genius knowledge and creativity gave marvelous results that bewilder visitors from all around the world. It's absolutely astonishing - the play of light and shadow, the glasswork, and the texture of the materials used. The audio guide was really useful and helped to understand the creation. The only irritating factor was the number of tourists:)
This allows for entry into the park with no need to wait. Just bear in mind once you enter the park, likely from the top of the hill by the bus stop, that is THE restricted area. There isn’t somewhere special this gets you. It just means you can take photos of Gaudi’s park & houses around the park.
In the group of 8 people nobody was able to understand were is the main part of the attraction, were to enter and were to look. Staff was rude. But the parc seems very nice eventhough we didn’t see much of it
