A fantastic evening! And seriously there is so much food that we didn’t eat for nearly a day afterwards! Tim, our guide, was great. He first took us to a Malaysian street food area and we sampled a number of dishes. Then we went to the Chinese night market and had all sorts of things from the stalls. Before going to the final stop of an Indian restaurant for various roti Tim took us around Kuala Lumpar to see a flower market and sweet stalks. Also at the end of the evening he took us to see more of the city
Great tour, would highly recommend. Pace was fantastic gave a good taste of what Melaka has to offer. There was also free time allocated which was great for shopping and just exploring on your own. Ian was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable, fun and approachable. He also gave great local tips not just limited to the Melaka tour.
Our tour guide was great! Treated us to some very special and local dishes that we would’ve never tried otherwise. You could tell he didn’t work on commission because we had to wait in line like everyone else! Very local Malay food tour.
Great tour, 3 stops at the Caves, Batik factory and Pewter factory. Perfect length of time. Chandra is an excellent guide and has a wide range of knowledge about Malaysia as well as the tour destinations. Would highly recommend.
Chandra of Ivy Holidays conducted the tour. He is very knowledgeable and gave us a pleasant commentary on our journey. The cave, temples, monkeys and rather challenging steps made for an excellent and recommended trip.
