Full description
Walk through the network of tunnels to admire masterpieces carved in salt by miners.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the most amazing monuments in Polish cultural history listed on the UNESCO Cultural and Natural World Heritage List. Visitors can walk through a 3.5 KM long network located at a depth of between 64 meters and 135 meters to discover underground chapels and lakes. Original mining tunnels, devices and tools remind visitors of the daily struggle of miners through the centuries.

The tour usually lasts between 4 and 5 hours in total. It takes around 40 minutes to drive from the center of Krakow to Wieliczka. A standard guided tour through the salt mine lasts 2-3 hours.

At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back in central Krakow, either at your hotel or we can recommend a local restaurant where you can go for dinner.
