I returned last Friday from 5 days in Krakow ... I have literally walked the length and breath of this amazing City. I was lucky to visit Krakow in the quiet season (I purposely chose this time, I hate crowds) and so my Wawel Cathedral, Castle and Royal Route Tour was on a one to one basis. My guide Monika was very personable and also very knowledgeable about Krakow and it's history and also about the sites we were visiting. Monika also gave me a full run down of the Old Town history on our route to Wawel Cathedral. Something to be aware of though when visiting this site, is that in low season they do close early. I went back in the afternoon to visit the State Rooms of the Castle to view the Tapestries. I arrived at 2:45 and was told they had stopped selling tickets for the day.

Drama tour !!!!! , it was supposed to be a group trip, it turned out to be an individual trip. Guide Lady in a torn, dirty jacket The Super Business Card showed us around several churches and places wherever we could sit, because I think physically or for health reasons she was unable to walk for too long. After reaching Wawel, she showed us around the places where tickets were not needed. When I asked why we didn't go to other places, she said that tickets are needed because the entries are not free. I informed the lady that we bought a trip where the tickets are included in the price, she said that she knew nothing about it and did not blame her. BRAVO!!!! We were deceived as children.
