See one of the oldest churches in Poland
The Dunajec River Gorge, the narrow valley of 9 kilometres length, is featured on UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites. While floating down the Dunajec, you can explore the biggest attractions of Pieniny National Park, including limestone cliffs ranging between 300m and 500m in height, and a rich flora and fauna. Since almost 160 years, rafting on this river has been organized by locals for tourists, in the past mainly for guest of nearby castles. Today it is one of the most exciting experiences you can have in the area, providing fun and excitement for those young and old.
Before getting on the raft, your guide will take you to Debno to see one of the oldest churches in Poland. On your way, you will also stop in Niedzica to admire the medieval castle, situated picturesquely on the shore of lake. The main attraction of the day – rafting on River Dunajec – will take around 2.5 hours and will end in charming small town of Szczawnica. After lunch, you'll hit the road and travel back to Krakow through Gorczanski National Park – the best way to finish unforgettable day.
