Full description
Explore the tragic history of World War II and the Holocaust on a 3.5-hour tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. Depart Kraków and travel to the town of Oświęcim by comfortable vehicle with an English-speaking driver.

Upon arrival, learn more about the history of the camp at exhibitions that detail how almost 1.3 million people were kept hostage and murdered there. Get an introduction to the origins of the camp, and hear about the everyday life of the prisoners. See the original barracks where they lived and the horrific gas chambers where they were put to death.

Founded in 1947 as a vital reminder of the terrible events, the memorial museum was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979 and has seen millions of visitors walk through the infamous "Arbeit Macht Frei" gate to take a poignant journey through history.
