What people are saying about Kotor Old Town

Splendid tour but a bit in a hurry throughout the day

Basically it's a 2-stops tour: visit of Notre Dame-du-Recif (Ferry is taken from Perast) and visit of Kotor (30 min local guide in the old town) Only 2h30 spent in Kotor in total. A lot of time is lost at the borders to go to Montenegro and back to Croatia (in total ~2,5 hours and we were told that we were lucky it was that short bcs can be much longer some days!) Bus driver and agency guide were OK. Even FR spoken because we were a lot of French speakers. City walls are quite slipery and not in good state like in Dubrovnik, so take good sports shoes if you wish to climb them (3eur/pers) The view above the old city from there is worth doing it. Would be worth also spending a night in Kotor to enjoy more of the location. The wonderful Kotor bay is seen mainly through the bus windows.

Alexander was fabulous and so knowledgeable

There was a mix up in our tour time we were told in email and the tour time that our guide was told to meet us, this was unfortunate and took some calling and waiting to get it straightened out. Alexander showed up eventually after a few texts and phone calls, waiting im the heat for almost an hour was not good and the worry we had with our prepaid tour. Once Alexander showed up everything went smoothly and it was a most enjoyable walking tour of Kotor. I will use this site again but will want to confirm tour time the day before with the company.

Wonderful trip to the beautiful Bay of Kotor

We had a great time on our trip to Montenegro. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable. The Bay of Kotor was very beautiful, and we learned some interesting history about Montenegro. I do wish we'd had a little more time in the city of Kotor.

Personal and private guide for getting to know the place

Stefan is a local from Kotor and really openly answered also difficult questions. What a great way to get to know a new place ... and btw. Kotor well worth a visit. Hope things stay as personal with tourist numbers ever rising ....

Worth the money. Friendly and informative

We really enjoyed our walking tour and learning more about Kotor. It was a very easy walk and should be suitable for most people.
