What people are saying about Koto City
We had a big problem because we thought we bought tickets for the TeamLabBorderless (which is like a bigger brother for TeamLab Planets), and got the news only at the entrance. So watch out when you book:) In the end, it was a Very nice sensorial experience, from tactile to visual. We were surprised that we had to go inside bare footed (Some rooms have water on the floor, up to the knees, but they provide towels and even shorts). I thought is was too expensive for the experience offered, we finished the whole thing in 20-30 min.
We arrived 30min late due to travelling to the wrong train station and were worried we would miss our scheduled ticket time. However, the staff were very understanding and let us go straight in with the next group. The museum sights were amazing to see, and very unique as we'd not seen the attractions and interactive rooms before.
Awesome experience. Took a bit over an hour. Be prepared for knee high water at times. The first room was fun but some had trouble getting through it as you sink in and have to get through soft, rolling materials that throw you off balance. Some found sticking to the walls helpful.
Very quite because of corona, but super clean, great staff, and extra time to see everything since there was not a lot of people there.
This was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Deep, colourful, insightful, majestic, wonder... absolutely amazing! : )
