So pleased we didn't leave Nepal without doing this. We chose the option of being picked up and dropped off at our hotel, which worked well and was convenient. Our pick up was on time and got us to the airport in good time for our flight. The flight itself was amazing - we had a clear blue sky, so couldn't ask for a better view of the Himalayas, with the ultimate view for us being Mt Everest. It was great being able to visit the cockpit and the air hostess was great at constantly walking around and pointing out to individuals the various mountains we were currently viewing so we could follow the mountain range on the flyer we were given. Would recommend this flight to others.
Amazing! First day it was cancelled bc of weather which actually made me feel a lot safer about airline. I went back the 2nd morning and it was a fantastic experience. They do such a great job in the air. Certain times of year in Nepal, you just have to get above the clouds. And all their mountains are above the clouds!
The Himalayans Mountains are beautful and majestic. The snow capped peaks and rugged outline is just breathtaking. Even though Everest is in the distance her beauty is regal with the wispy cloud draping her shoulders. Worth the early rise and I will be eternally grateful we had good weather first attempt.
Trip taken to get a closer view of Everest and the surrounding Himalayian mountains. This are is spectacular but I was a little disappointed the flight was unable to fly closer to the mountains. Advertising doesn't adequately describe what was entailed.
The weather didn't cooperate and I was denied the beautiful sunrise view of the mountains. Bhaktapur is a fascinating study in ancient Hindu and Newari culture. Despite the devastation of the 2015 earthquake, it is a beautiful place.
