An excellent way to spend the day and an excellent company to book!

The tour guide was absolutely excellent! We had some very poor weather conditions with low visibility, and our guide (Marita) made the days itinerary very flexible to maximize what good weather we managed to find. She was entertaining and knowledgable and didn't let the poor weather negatively affect our trip. The castle and gardens were stunning an the falconry display was breathtaking. Highly, highly recommend this tour!

This is a great trip for seeing the countryside but it is long.

Orkney Island is a 2.5-3 hr bus ride from Inverness. It is a beautiful ride but it makes for a long day. I was happy they offered to preorder food for us both when we arrived in John o Groates and a sandwich on the ride back.

It's a long drive but very much worth it as Orkney is breathtaking.

The guide on the tour was great. Very knowledgeable and with a good sense of humour. I appreciated the historic references and cultural information. A natural at the job.
