All went smoothly from the time we met Marta, our guide, in the Campo di Fiori, slightly off the beaten Roman tourist trail. Stopping occasionally to give us fascinating insights regarding the history of the places we visited, she also led our small group to several small restaurants to sample genuine Italian dishes. The pizzas on the thinnest of crusts were delicious and very unlike what we would expect of a pizza at home. And we were introduced to food we hadn't tried before - including suppli (rice balls) and globe artichokes cooked in traditional Roman-Jewish style in the former Ghetto. Wine and finally a wide choice of ice-creams rounded off a really enjoyable evening. Thank you, Marta, for your efficiency throughout.

Our guide Matteau (think that's right?) was wonderful we were very fortunate to be the only 2 on his tour, but meant we got a superb repour and all the Q's and A's one could want. He was extremely knowledgeable about Rome, its origins and cultures. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the tour, it was varied, he used a tablet to show the historical appearances of buildings and described vividly of the demise of some areas. The food aspect was just balanced enough, almost too much, but spread out enough to enable us to appreciate the tastings and its roots in history. Thank you

Malta was our guide, she was amazing! So knowledgeable and fun. She made it very educational and personable. She got to tell us about each place, it’s origins and why she was actually taking us where she was. Absolutely recommend!

Our guide Georgio was great - he was fun and introduced us to the area with informative stories. Their was variety to the food and we had plenty to eat by the end of the tour. Will recommmend to others.

Our guide Gergio was very friendly and a pleasant guide and explaned all very well. Walking around in Rome, hearing about Italian food and tasting it - it all was in great balance!
