This was best thing I done on my trip to Rome. We sampled traditional Roman food at about 5 different places including 2 types of pizzas, 2 types of pasta, lots of tasty appetizers and good drinks. The only thing I wasnt keen on when it was given to me was the red wine which I never drink in England but even that was quite nice with our pasta. We ended the tour with Gelato, made with quality ingredients (I recommend the pistachio flavour, so good) The tour guide Elisabeth was excellent, she clearly loves her job and was able to answer the whole group of 9s questions and made the tour better than I'd expected it to be. 5 stars all round :)
Simone is a sincere person who express passion for his job. He impressed us with his wide field of knowledge about Rome and not only the street food, which was also exemplary. We enjoyed his company and he made us feel at home righg from the start of the tour. He gave us so much more insight into the development of Rome that the food part almost seemed as a bonus. We were lucky we were the only ones on the tour. We are Dutch so used to cycling and able to cover lots of ground. Adriana showed is beautiful things, knew a lot and is a very enthusiastic great guide. Rome is awesome and going more outside the city it is beautiful. Cycling one of of Rome’s oldest roads is awesome. I would definitely recommend this!!
My husband & I took the Street Food tour with Simone as our guide and thoroughly enjoyed it! Simone was very enthusiastic, engaging & knowledgeable. We learnt a great deal about Roman history as well as the history of street food in Rome. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for something different to do in this beautiful city.
My wife and I joined a trip led by Simone for a Saturday evening introduction to Roman street food. Simone was superbly informative and helpful. Pairing history tidbits with a good range of small bites. We certainly left the tour well fed!
