Full description
Take an exciting private day trip to Ranthambore National Park from Jaipur, ideal for wildlife enthusiasts. The park was once a royal hunting ground, and still houses the Royal Fort and a scattering of ancient temples. The area is known for Bengal tigers, mugger crocodiles, Indian leopards, sloth bears, and hundreds of species of birds. After early pick up from your hotel or the airport in Jaipur, relax on the approximately 3 to 4-hour drive to Sawai Madhopur. Reach Ranthambore at 1 PM. Your 4-hour afternoon safari will start at approximately 2 PM. Travel through the forest zone with a government-approved naturalist guide in an open 6-seater Jeep or a larger canter, as you look out for the varied Indian flora and fauna in its natural habitat. At the end of the safari around 6:30 PM, the driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Jaipur. You may request a dinner break on the way back. Great Nature Advanture, Everything went smooth according to description and plenty of nature to see throughout the park. Lucky enough to see a Mother Bengal Tiger ! It is a long day perhaps worth staying a night at the park and fitting in another safari the next day if time permitting

It was a very good experience. The driver was really good and careful, the guides in the park were gentle and informative. Most important of all, we saw two tigers and a lot of other animals, like crocodiles, deer and thousands of unique birds. Important information before you go: - The drive is long (about 3h each way, 6h total) and you will be on the tour for also 3h. - We did the group option with ˜16 people. If you have the money, I would chose the jeep/small group option

I arrived at airport and very punctual my driver was waiting for me to take me to me hotel drop my bags and then go to Ranthambore. It’s a long drive, so be prepared for couple of hours in the car. He would stop as many times as I asked him. When we got to Ranthambore we stopped to have lunch, and then to the office to wait for the Jeep. I recommend that if you are less than 4 persons traveling get a Jeep! It’s very nice a little more expensive, but I thought it was worth it. The national park has a lot of entrees and unfortunately the one we chose we didn’t see any tigers. But the view is beautiful we got to see other animals, and that’s part of nature. I know people that have done the tour 5 times and never saw tigers, and people that first time saw 2-3 even 4 tigers. So it’s just a matter of luck. We started at 2:10 - finished at 6:15 And then I got dropped off at my hotel in Jaipur. Long day, but I loved the experience. I think that it’s worth to try it.
