What people are saying about Inverness
From the very start of the tour, it was fun and games! Marita was a very animated and informative guide for the tour-she told us so many things about Scotland and the Highlands in general. I learned a great deal from the tour. She stopped as often as possible (and probably a little more often than she should have since the weather was so remarkable!) and we had opportunity for many great pictures and spectacular views. I would highly recommend the tour company and Get your Guide for ease of booking.
Everything went well, Busdriver has been very welcoming, friendly informative and funny , ship crew just the same and the Hot chocolate with Whiskey soooo good . I have been at Urquart castle before but to see it from the Loch has been just amazing and I think we had enough time to walk around ( 55min) . all in all it has been a great tour and even my son (10years) enjoyed every minute ! Thanks to everyone involved, I would highly recommend it !
Excellent driver (Neil) very friendly and knowledgeable. Great day out, nice weather and locations were very scenic. Overall very well organised. Loch Ness and the Castle were great. Even had the excitement of a Coastguard training exercise (landing a man on our boat) on the boat journey back from Castle Urquhart.
Would have liked to have a bit more time in Portree to not only eat but to have time to visit the harbour. We had some difficulty understanding our tour guide when he spoke in the microphone.
It’s nice that no time was wasted seeing any sort of craft demonstration with “the chance to buy,” and the guide tells you some general stuff on the bus so you are on your own at the stops.
