Full description
Board your ship from the Cable Wharf in Downtown Halifax. Enjoy a nature cruise to the Halifax harbor, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the cliffs of Chebucto Head. Watch as the crew pulls a lobster trap from deep below the waters of the Atlantic. Hear fish stories, and tales from the lives of a lobster fisher. Learn how to handle a lobster, snapping claws and all. Discover how these intriguing sea creatures continue to live and thrive in our waters.

Keep your eyes peeled on the water and you may be able to spot species of minke whale, fin whale, dolphin, seals, tuna, and sunfish. These elusive sea creatures are cleverly camouflaged, so you always have to be on the lookout. As you enjoy the fresh sea breeze, you can feed the various seabirds, which are native to the harbor.
