What people are saying about Gothic Quarter Barcelona

An insightful tour & lecture about Spain and the Jews who lived there

An insightful tour through the Gothic quarter about the history of Spain in general and the history of Jewish people who lived there. Dina has in depth knowledge on history and is clearly passionate about it. She conveyed this complex history story simply, from different points of view, knew to answer questions and connect the timeline to other historical events around the world in general and to Jewish events in particular. Dina's map reference as well and standing there on the stone floor conveyed the history in a very personal and real way. Dina shows you how Jewish life in Spain was good & flourishing - the strong Jewish presence in Spain of scholars like the Ramban. Before the horrible inquisition in 1492 that only ended over 300 years later.

Barcelona: Jewish Quarter 2-Hour Walking Tour Reviewed by Akiva, 04/01/2019

A fun experience that will not go above or below your expectations

This was a perfectly fine experience. The helicopter, well short, was still a helicopter. Views were beautiful and it was fun checking this off my bucket list. The walking tour took us through the Gothic Quarter which is the most interesting area of the city that I saw when I was there. It was great to learn about the history and the guide was awesome and really friendly (she even gave us her number so we could get further advice on where to explore after the tour). The boat was...a boat. We went out, cruised along the harbor for 45 minutes, and came back. Nothing special but....it was a boat! As a whole this experience was a fun way to spend the day!

A Great and super convenient way to explore Barcelona

The bus is a really convenient way to explore Barcelona. I was in Barcelona with my parents, who don’t enjoy walking long distances and they were super happy to be able to take the bus and move onto the next sight. All drivers and guides on the bus were super friendly and the audio guides were thorough and really well made. The only small problem we had was that the Park Güell stop was changed and neither the App nor the map are up to date so it took us a little while to make it back to the right place. It would be great if the app were updated. All in all I was really satisfied!

Julia’s tour made my holiday! Best tour ever thank you Julia

What a amazing experience! Great way to see the city and worth 90 euros! Julia was amazing she is one real asset to your company! Her knowledge was amazing, she made time for everyone on the tour and even gave us suggestions for what to do next! This kind of customer service is rare and she is a real gem! Lovey friendly and the worlds best tour guide! Thank you Julia for making our trip to Barcelona a special one.

It was good but not as good as I expected.

The tour guide was lovely and the trip was good, but the timings they gave weren’t accurate. The parts of the activity didn’t last as long as they said. The helicopter part was great, the boat part wasn’t so great was too short and didn’t see much. The walking tour was good we learnt some interesting facts about Barcelona. Wouldn’t be in a rush to recommend this tour for the price of it.
