Take your pick of a morning or afternoon tour, and connect with your private guide at either your central Rome hotel or a another convenient meeting point. From here, you will begin with a stop at Piazza di Spagna, once considered the "drawing room" of Roman power brokers, and still a popular rendezvous point today. You will then stroll over to the Trevi Fountain, where you can toss a coin into the fabulously Baroque waterworks and imagine scenes from La Dolce Vita, Roman Holiday and other classic films which have been shot here.
Afterwards, you will continue through narrow streets and charming squares whilst learning the stories behind engraved obelisks, historic buildings, and stately palaces. You will see one-time papal residences that today host modern offices, and reach back to the city’s imperial glory days inside the magnificent Pantheon, one of Rome’s best-preserved ancient monuments.
