Full description
You have just 1 day in Tuscany, and there's so much to see. Pisa, San Gimignano and Siena in 1 day...with this tour it is possible! Your day begins early in the morning with a tour of Pisa, where you will admire the stunning Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Monumental Cemetery. You can also snap photographs of the celebrated Leaning Tower. Then you move onto a famous wine estate or restaurant in the foothills of San Gimignano, where you can enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch with a wine tasting. After lunch you will explore one of the most famous medieval hilltop villages in Italy, San Gimignano, where you can discover the maze of cobbled streets, the small squares and many local artisan shops. The day continues with a panoramic view of the true Chianti countryside, followed by a stop in Siena. Here, a specialist guide joins the group and leads the walk around the most important squares to the Cathedral. At the end of the tour there will be time to enjoy a coffee and some shopping in typical local shops. Then you will return to Florence in a beautiful Tuscan sunset. This is just one day, but the memories will continue!

A very enjoyable day trip from Florence, staff were easy to find at the bus station and the guide and driver were very friendly. The tour was conducted in English and Italian at the same time and the guide was easy to understand. The guided tour in Siena option is worth it as it includes entry to the Cathedral which is a definite highlight, would of liked longer in San Gimignano. Perhaps would drop Pisa due to its distance from the other two cities to allow more time at them or another stop somewhere closer, although i understand a lot of people want to visit it. Lunch and the wine tasting were both delicious. Overall a very enjoyable day and worthwhile experience but would of liked longer in the two cities.

It is a tour that gives you good cultural knowledge. The places that are visited are beautiful, it was very organized and well prepared, especially, the guide who was accompanying us, she knew the places and their history well, clearly indicated the instructions and agenda so that we could enjoy the excursion. To recommend, it is important to be clearer at the initial meeting point, because it said at the train terminal, and the exact point was not clear to us, we got lost and we almost missed the bus

It is not very often that I find myself writing a review while on vacation regarding a tour, but this one requires a special mention. Our tour guide Grace (her English was good and could be easily understood) was there when we arrived and we were quickly ushered in to the site. Having the tour with Grace was like having our own historian walk with us through the ruins and made the event very special for my wife and I. It was clear from the beginning that she has a passion for Pompei and the history of the site and the area surrounding it. Thank you Grace for a wonderful day. We highly recommend this tour.
