This is a great tour to go on! It lasted 5 hours and stopped at two beautiful wineries. Illaria our tour guide was personable, bubbly and very knowledgeable! Our wine guides at each stop spoke English well and explained the wine process easily enough for us to understand. The wine obviously was delicious at both places. We used a taxi to get to the meeting area and the tram to get back, both very easy. We highly recommend this tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed this Chianti tour. We tasted an array of excellent wines; the tour guides at both wineries were extremely knowledgable and passionate about their produce. It's mostly red wine, only one white and one rose. The first also had cheeses, salami, olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting. A lovely addition to the wineries was a visit to the ancient and fascinating walled town of Monteriggioni. Our guide Alberto was excellent; enthusiastic and friendly. He was assisted by Hilaria who was also very warm, friendly and helpful. Both spoke perfect English.

This tour was very good value. There was about 10-12 of us on a small bus. The tour started late, I was there in good time but was told I had 45 mins to wait before we started. Strange as this seemed to be much later than advertised. Mediterranean time! I found it odd that we drove for a good 15 minutes before we had any introduction from the guide. I would have liked a hello, welcome, my name is, this is the plan, speak to you soon - before we actually made our way. The three venues visited made the tour well worth while. I would recommend this tour.
