What people are saying about Everglades National Park

Travelled with grandsons (10 and 13) and found the visit educational

The guide (Chris) was very helpful and provided much information at our level and at the level of our grandsons (10/13). The trip ranks high among the many similar tours we have done in various parts of the world.

A great afternoon with exciting boat ride!

Picked up in sunny isles and great drive to Miami on double decker bus. Unfortunately could not hear commentary but got info on site. Saw show first. Then boarded boat! What a thrill! Lots of birds and fauna and alligators!! Then driver let loose with boat thru waterways!! Noisy but exciting! Excellent adventure! Enjoyed sausage and friend tasted alligator tail? Return trip good .

It was fun to see the city with someone who knows the city

We got to hold the baby gator and tour the city in one day which it will not happen without join the tour. It’s well worth it. However the communication about the schedules could be improved. Ps. The tickets doesn’t include the entrance fee to the park or taking pictures with the gators. It covers only the transportations so be prepared to pay more about $5. If you don’t want to eat gator meat, make sure you eat a good breakfast. We did tip the tour guy well because they are Hilarious and knowledgeable about what they are doing which make our vacation a magic.

A bird and alligator filled airboat ride.

We were able to view dozens of birds and alligators from our airboat. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made for a wonderful experience. We also enjoyed the show after our boat ride and got to hold a baby alligator.

Five people in my group and everybody enjoyed the experience.

We had a 3.5 hour boat/walk tour starting in Chokoloskee. The boat took us among the myriad islands on Gulf coast and stopped on one to examine the local shellfish and traces of original indian inhabitants. The captain was knowledgeable in local flora and fauna and even found us a spot to watch dolphins swim around the boat. A few islands had large colonies of white pelicans. The area visited is one of few remaining US areas which is totally wild and only visited by fishermen, kayakers and a few tourists in guide boats. The water is relatively shallow allowing only smaller boats with outboard motors or airboats to navigate. Chokoloskee is literally at the end of the road and has a small population and limited facilities but a clients that loves the remoteness. Its an hours drive from Naples so it is relatively easy to get to. If you want to experience the Gulf islands this is the way to do it.
