Full description
Explore the wild landscape of Wicklow and Glendalough on an 8.5-hour small coach tour, with Dublin city center pick-ups and a quick taster tour of Ireland’s capital before heading south along the coast, passing Dun Laoghaire, Sandycove and Dalkey.

Stop for morning coffee and craft shopping at Avoca Handweavers, before heading into Wicklow to experience some of Ireland’s legendary shades of green. A highlight of your tour will be Sally Gap, where lakes, heather and barren boglands converge.

Breathe in the beauty of this natural paradise, while your guide tells interesting facts mixed with a little fantasy. Then, it’s time to relax and enjoy lunch at a traditional Irish pub.

Back on the road, drive to enchanting Glendalough, following in the footsteps of saints and scholars at the 6th-century monastic settlement, complete with its tall Round Tower made of mica-slate and granite. Enjoy some free to walk along the valley to the Upper Lake for stunning views of the oak woods and scenery.

The tour exceeded our expectations. All was executed smoothly and timely. High five to John - a very charismatic driver, tour guide and excellent storyteller in one person. His everlasting energy and friendly atmosphere he created from the very moment we entered the coach made this trip an unforgettable experience. Bus itself was convenient and clean, route well planned with few stops for coffee and food. Highly recommended.

The tour guide was the most cheerful and friendly person I have ever met. He talked all throughout the tour and gave a lot of interesting information not only about the places that were part of the tour but about Dublin and Ireland in general. The places we visited were all absolutely beautiful and the tour itself was very relaxing and interesting. There were also quite a lot of stops in different spots along the route to take photos and walk around a little. A short but fascinating tour around the picturesque Glendalough was included, and if you wanted you could also walk among the hills to the Upper Lake. If you have a chance to visit Dublin, don't even think twice about taking this tour.
